Stepping, hip hop, house, dancehall and many more, come and discover a multidisciplinary programme: photo exhibition, show, battle and jam!

The founder of Dancehall Clash Corner, Oriane Vandenbergh, nicknamed Coco, is a dancer who discovered herself through Dancehall. It’s a style of dance that comes from the underprivileged areas of Jamaica. Since 2012, Coco has continued her training by taking classes with Jamaican dancers. In 2014, Coco’s ambition was to develop Dancehall in Belgium, and she’s been busy doing just that. In particular, she has trained a large number of students in various schools, but she has also taken part in various choreography competitions to bring dancehall to a wider audience and has won many prizes over the years.
In 2019, she won one of the most prestigious titles: dancehall queen of Belgium.
In 2021, Coco decided to launch her “Practice like Coco” programme, which aims to train Belgians intensively in dancehall. Coco also set up a dancehall jam called “Dancehall Corner” to give Belgian dancehall dancers a place to meet and exchange ideas.
Coco also started “Clash Corner” to raise the level of dancehall in Belgium. Clash Corner is a dancehall battle that respects the rules of dancehall dance and culture. Through this event, Dancehall dancers can challenge each other personally and artistically.
