A sensory and physical experience, verging on the spiritual, NEXUS – En quête d’une voie  is a performance that explores the vulnerability of the human spirit.

Four performers take to the stage, unfolding the new imaginaries generated by an altered perception of reality. They walk a tightrope; everything hinges on a breath, in inner worlds of non-conventional perception, where bodies move, speak and cry out without a sound.

Oumar Diallo’s piece explores the delicate value of the moment, breaks down the wall separating the audience from the performers, and uses movement, words and embodiment to breathe life into the performance.

Stemming from the worlds of street and club culture, Oumar Diallo’s dance is very much of the present day. NEXUS – En quête d’une voie is his first group production, following his acclaimed duet Kifesh 2.0 (2024).

For this project, Oumar Diallo received the Roel Verniers Prize, awarded by the Theaterfestival / KVS with the aim of encouraging emerging artists.
