Lila Magnin
Dancer, choreographer and music creator, Lila develops her own visual and musical universe. After having danced with several international choreographers, she choreographed her first creation #the roof is on fire in 2019, Céleste, a short-form piece in 2021, and then a first solo Azad in 2022. After the success of her three creations, Lila began broadcasting her third piece in a long format, a group piece. She is working on her newest creation “Sāmara” which will premiere in autumn 2024.

Creations
Sāmara
The Sanskrit word “Sāmara”, meaning “protected by the gods” and “battlefield”, reflects the theme of complementary dualities that is an integral part of the play.
Azad
Azad was the first name of Lila’s great-grandmother. This word means “free”. In this solo, Lila Magnin explores the complexities of femininity in a world that does not understand all the issues.
Céleste
Céleste is a short-form piece that seeks to share different facets of femininity, of women, and with performers/artists from different backgrounds.
