Estelle Ebenga Hénot

Passionate about Hip Hop and freestyle, Estelle Ebenga Hénot is a dancer, choreographer and creative entrepreneur. She made her name in the underground battles scene with the Xplicit crew and then the women’s collective ATF Collective. She then discovered the theatre scene and worked with various hip hop and contemporary dance choreographers, who gave her a taste for the stage. She then set up her own dance company, Ilondzo, and went on to create two choreographic projects: her solo In/Her Blossom and her trio Concrete Roses.

Estelle Ebenga Hénot is a creative entrepreneur and choreographer born in Lille and originally from Congo-Brazzaville. She discovered Hip Hop dance in 2004 and developed a passion for new style and house dance. She discovered Hip Hop dance in 2004 and developed a passion for new style and house dance. She is part of the third generation of Hip Hop dancers in the North of France and became known in the battles scene with the Lille crew Xplicit and then the collective ATF Collective in France and Europe in its early days (Juste Debout Lille, Eurobattle, SDK, Nothing But Flavour…); which introduced her to the theatrical scene.

Based in Paris since 2011, she has worked with a number of Hip Hop and contemporary dance choreographers, including Fabrice Labrana, Hubert Petit-Phar, Romuald Brizolier and Florent Mahoukou, on various choreographic projects.

Very involved in Hip Hop culture, she also has her own creative marketing studio and works as a creative consultant for brands such as Eastpak, Jordan, The Notorious IBE or Netflix Germany, and promotes the culture through her podcast ‘Inside The Cypher’.
