Get Down as a booster : tailored actions
At Get Down – Dancers Management, we take pride in our long-lasting collaborations with talented female choreographers who have trusted us for many years. We are recognized at the heart of the Belgian cultural landscape for our comprehensive long-term support. This includes multidimensional guidance that takes into account all aspects of an artist’s activities. For example, our collaboration with Lila Magnin involves not only the promotion of her creations but also support in production, the implementation of communication strategies, tour management, and strategic guidance tailored to her artistic career needs. However, this is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to our expertise.
Indeed, Get Down also offers various one-time services that cover the full range of our skills. We provide our complete range of services in the form of targeted, one-time missions that meet the specific needs of each project and each artist who seeks our help. Whether it’s developing and implementing distribution strategies, providing production support, offering strategic guidance, coordinating an artistic career, managing tours, or advising on communication and press relations, our team is ready to step in at every stage of the artistic journey.
What services do you offer?
At Get Down – Dancers Management, we are committed to providing personalized support tailored to the specific needs of each artist. After a thorough interview and detailed analysis of the artist’s expectations, we will determine together the necessary services and the duration of our collaboration. Here are some examples of one-time missions we carried out at Get Down this summer:
- Distribution support over a defined period for the show Kifesh 2.0 by choreographer Oumar Diallo / Compagnie Kifesh during the Avignon Off Festival 2024. We accompanied the company throughout the festival to ensure their connection with industry professionals (receptions, meetings, follow-ups with programmers and media). Learn more here.
- Press relations management for the first edition of the Freestyle Festival. The Freestyle Lab association called on Get Down to enhance the visibility of their first edition of the Festival (at the Théâtre de la Vie, in June 2024) within the Belgian media. Learn more here.
But Get Down also offers:
- Career strategy coaching, available in packages of 2h, 4h, or 20h, tailored to the needs and ambitions of each individual;
- Assistance in developing customized strategies for artistic careers;
- Tour management support;
- Assistance during national and international tours;
- Help with logistics, production, and administration;
- Networking and co-production prospecting, residences, and partnerships;
- Communication and press relations: advice, development, and implementation of strategies and action plans.
Interested in collaborating ? Frequently Asked Questions :
But I’m not a female choreographer—or do not identify as one—can we still work together?
While we choose to work long-term exclusively with female choreographers, when it comes to one-time missions, we do not make gender distinctions. The only requirement is that the artist’s work resonates with our values and aligns with the ideas we champion!
I don’t see the service I’m interested in on your website. Does that mean you don’t offer it?
Get Down is a constantly evolving agency that strives every day to find new ways to best support artists in their journeys. Don’t hesitate to contact us; our team will put their talent and network to work for the success of your project!
I’m not sure what I need. What should I do?
The Get Down team will do their best to identify your needs. During an interview, we can assess the services that will best meet your expectations.
How does Get Down select the artists they work with?
At Get Down, there are no auditions! Human connection is paramount. If the project speaks to us and we find the values of openness, tolerance, inclusivity, and the multiplicity of representations that we defend, then collaboration is entirely possible!
