AMANTHE BAZAS JOINS THE TEAM

AMANTHE BAZAS JOINS THE TEAM

Camille Philippot, founder of Get Down, is about to give birth to a little B-Boy by the end of October!

Spotlight on Amanthe Bazas who will take the lead in her absence.

Coming from the Parisian region, Amanthe shares how urban arts have always been an integral part of her life, a love passed down from her parents.

“I have been immersed in urban culture and arts from an early age.”

She started hip-hop when she was 5. Later on, she practiced some Latin dances. At home, among other musical styles, a lot of rap, dancehall, funk and hip-hop.

Amanthe began her studies in France, at Paris-Sorbonne University, then left to study in Scotland. She pursued with a master’s degree in Cultural Management at the Free University of Brussels during which she wrote a thesis on the challenges of the professionalization of urban dancers in Brussels. She did her final internship at Get Down, with the team !

Convinced that everyone should do what he.she is passionate about, she wants to help artists to grow by taking care of any obstacles that may appear so they can fully and only be concentrated in their art.

Currently in a full training with Camille Philipppot, Amanthe will support each artist and will handle all Get Down missions in the coming months.
